Our November- December 2017 day of professional learning focuses on sharing and developing our guild knowledge of Junior Cycle English. We explore inclusive practices and making learning visible and consider opportunities to integrate digital technologies to support teaching, learning and assessment.
Our January- March 2018 CPD day focuses on exploring the Junior Cycle English Specification and how we might approach collaborative planning using the learning outcomes. We consider talk as a tool for learning and the details of the Oral Communication CBA. We also reflect on the Final Assessment, explore the Collection of the Student's Texts CBA and look at the key details of the Assessment Task.
