Over the coming weeks, we will be sharing digital/online technologies and useful websites which may interest you and your students as your engagement with the suite of Junior Cycle Technology subjects continues. Our weekly resources will be hosted on our website under Resources in the Technologies section and will be released each Tuesday via our Twitter account @JCt4ed with the hashtag #JCt4Tuesdays.
The JCt4 team have developed a infographic resource based on a recent document published by the DES, available here. This infographic visually displays some advice for teachers of practical subjects around the safe implementation of the practical aspects of these subjects. We thought this would be a beneficial visual aid for students and teachers across the suite of Technology subjects. The resource can be found at https://jct.ie/technologies/resources
The JCt4 team have developed a planning resource which may aid teachers across the suite of Junior Cycle Technology subjects. This resource was developed in response to teacher feedback over the past year in relation to subject planning. Having taken teacher feedback on board, the JCt4 Technologies team are delighted to present a new Excel Digital Planner for each of the Technology subjects.
The Excel Digital Planner, accompanying information sheet and a tutorial screencast on useful features can be found under Planning in the Technologies subjects.
