The September edition of the JCT History team's newsletter is available below. The newsletter explores how the eight principles of Junior Cycle can support teachers returning to the Junior Cycle History classroom.

We are holding a series of webinars this September as part of the Junior Cycle History Wednesday Webinar Series. The first of these webinars will be held on Wednesday 16th September 2020 at 7pm.  The focus of this webinar will be An Introduction to the Junior Cycle History Specification. These webinars will be of particular interest to teachers who will be teaching Junior Cycle History for the first time in 2020/2021. This series was previously broadcast in May 2020. You can click here to register for the first webinar. 

 

The second webinar will be held on  Wednesday 23rd September 2020 at 7pm. The focus of this webinar will be Collaborative and classroom planning for First-Year Junior Cycle History. You can click here to register for the second webinar. 

 

The third and final webinar in the series will be held on Wednesday 30th September 2020 at 7pm. The focus of this webinar will be Planning for and assessing the Junior Cycle 'big picture' learning outcomes​. You can click here to register for the third webinar.
