There is a new Junior Cycle pathway for students with special educational needs. Students taking L1LPs are likely to be at the early stage of cognitive development. Some students may have an identification of a learning disability that falls in the range of severe and profound and low moderate. A Level 1 Learning Programme (L1LP) can be made up of: Priority Learning Units and Short Courses.
